George Harrison was probably the most spiritually oriented among the Beatles. His quest to learn Indian music brought him in contact with Indian spiritual ideas, especially the teachings of Swami Vivekananda. He would often quote Swami Vivekananda's words that first inspired him "Each should is potentially divine. The goal is to manifest this divinity". Indian spiritual ideas would influence not just his music but the way he perceived it.
